After Justin
Brown approves the print, he spends substantial amounts of time
having each of his limited edition photographs individually and
uniquely framed. He chooses the frames, the mats and various other
details that go into framing each and every piece. It is Justin
Brown's belief that the frame is an integral part of the artwork
and that as much attention should be paid to it as composing the
image, developing the film or printing the image. None the less,
prints may be purchased unframed.

"I
see images all over that are really good, yet when they are framed,
every image is framed exactly the same. I believe that the details
are what make great pieces extraordinary. Why go through all the
trouble of taking a beautiful picture just to put it in some frame
that doesn't do anything for that unique piece of work. When it's
on the wall it's art, and the frame is part of that art, so why
not spend some time on it!" |
