Justin Brown's interest was and is to make use of traditional means and forego all computer/darkroom enhancements in his work. There are also no tricks with color filters or lighting adjustments to the scenes being shot. This being said, the one filter used is the polarizing filter. A very common filter that is most notable in its wide spread use in sunglasses, watches and laptop displays. The polarizing filter reduces reflected light.

Justin Brown pursues photography as a medium for creating awe inspiring works of "art" that hopefully captivate people enough to become more aware of their surroundings, be it the delicate natural beauty or the man made.
